About Be Prepared CPR

Susan Leavitt is a Certified Instructor with the American Red Cross and also the founder and owner of Be Prepared CPR, LLC. 

Susan and her husband relocated from southern Nevada to Queen Creek, AZ in 2024, a move prompted by the desire to be closer to family. By offering First Aid/CPR/AED as well as BLS courses, she hopes that the knowledge and skills learned will make a positive impact on the community.

Susan has an extensive background in medicine. During her 38 year career as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, she has worked in both hospital and outpatient settings serving a wide variety of communities. She holds multiple advanced level credentials with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Computerized Tomography (CT) Cardiovascular Interventional Technology (CV) and Mammography (M). Her career included technical, supervisory, management and Director of Radiology positions.

You will find Susan most mornings at Mountainside Fitness. Whether it’s a yoga class or just a quick cardio or weight session, she believes it is important to stay active in order to maintain good health.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, sewing and spending time with family and friends.

Her travels have taken her and her husband to many different countries, including a trip to Greece and Croatia in 2024.
